The Jennifer Young Well-Being Collections

Help those affected by cancer; Jennifer Young expands her range of therapeutic specialist skincare

Some of the world’s best spas are able to welcome those affected by cancer thanks to Jennifer Young & Beauty Despite Cancer. Jennifer’s Defiant Beauty Collections, created with the help of an NHS cancer centre, combat the skin and nail related side-effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Jennifer Young has continued her work and is pleased to announce the launch of the Well-Being Beauty Collections. The body, bath and home fragrance products have been created to solve a problem often associated with diagnosis of, and treatment for, cancer. Many who are not directly affected by cancer also experience these conditions.

Jennifer says

‘We started working with our first UK spa in 2015. Research carried out during the intervening period has demonstrated what we all know; Defiant Beauty and the Jennifer Young Therapies help cancer patients.

I always wanted to do more so I have spent the last three years developing therapeutic essential oil blends to help those living with and beyond cancer.

The new Jennifer Young Well-Being Beauty Collections use high grade therapeutic essential oils to support those affected by many of the common side-effects of treatment for cancer.’

Jennifer Young is a scientist and a lawyer as well as a beauty and holistic therapist. She tells us how this has changed her approach to blending

‘My background means that clinical research and evidence is the only place to start when blending essential oils in order to solve a physical or emotional problem. I use medical evidence to draw up a short list of oils and strike off the many that are not appropriate for use with cancer patients. The remaining oils are both appropriate for use by cancer patients and have evidence to demonstrate their efficacy. I use these oils by to create an exquisite blend with a purpose’

Being launched into our spas next month.
